Packaging, edition

Salomon called us to develop the packaging of the ultra limited edition of S/LAB ULTRA, shoes developped with Francois D’Haene and conceived for ultra-marathoners that he called himself « Formula 1 car adapted to long distance and paths. » Shoes’s – 171 as 171km of the UTMB – are numbered & stained of the race track and of the number of hours Francois D’Haene tooked to win it !
To showscase their design and technicity, we adapted the gradient of the shoes all-over the package to give to it a fancy container. Then we hot-stamped with gold technical information regarding the athlete’s performance to mark even stronger his exceptional character. And at last for the booklet – also gold hot-stamped – we choose a technical paper mixed of natural fibers and plastic which is reminiscent of the work of the shoes conception.
